I’m Lydia, 29, Founder & Creative Director of BY LYDIA,

Whilst born and raised in Derbyshire from a manufacturing background, a move to SW London at 17 ignited my passion for interiors and has steadily grown ever since - a career of 12 years and counting as Interior Designer & Stylist I found myself making all the pieces I couldn’t find on the shelf. In the industry it was frustrating to see so may items being made abroad and with long lead times and of low quality.

BY LYDIA was born - I saw a gap in the market for beautiful furniture that can be made in England under 6 weeks using quality materials which are responsibly sourced. All our products are lovingly made by my team of highly skilled craftsmen who have been making furniture for UK’s top interior designers for many years.

Currently, our range includes Shearling Chairs, Headboards & Cushions, and we have many more items the pipeline.
